Quali dati trattiamo e perché

• Richieste e contatti (email, WhatsApp, telefono): trattiamo nome, recapiti e contenuto del messaggio per risponderti e gestire la tua richiesta (art. 6.1.b GDPR — misure precontrattuali adottate su tua richiesta).
• Prenotazione e soggiorno: dati anagrafici e di contatto, date del soggiorno, numero di ospiti ed eventuali esigenze particolari, per dare esecuzione al contratto di ospitalità (art. 6.1.b). I pagamenti sono gestiti da fornitori specializzati: non vediamo né conserviamo mai i dati completi della tua carta.
• Obblighi di legge (art. 6.1.c): come ogni struttura ricettiva in Italia comunichiamo le generalità degli ospiti al portale Alloggiati Web della Polizia di Stato (art. 109 TULPS), gestiamo l'imposta di soggiorno per conto del Comune di Ascoli Piceno e conserviamo la documentazione fiscale nei termini previsti.
• Navigazione sul sito: il sito è ospitato su GitHub Pages; come ogni server web, i sistemi di hosting possono registrare nei log dati tecnici quali l'indirizzo IP, a fini di sicurezza ed erogazione del servizio. Per contare le visite in forma puramente aggregata usiamo Cloudflare Web Analytics: uno strumento che non installa cookie, non memorizza nulla sul tuo dispositivo, non costruisce profili e non identifica i singoli visitatori. Non usiamo nessun altro strumento di analisi e nessuno strumento di profilazione. I caratteri tipografici sono ospitati direttamente su questo sito. Il riquadro di disponibilità e prezzi carica alcune componenti tecniche dai server dei fornitori (jQuery e Beds24): queste richieste comportano la comunicazione del tuo indirizzo IP a tali fornitori, per la sola finalità di far funzionare il riquadro.

Cookie

Questo sito non installa cookie. Nessun cookie di profilazione, nessun cookie di statistica, nessun cookie tecnico proprio: la verifica è stata effettuata il 10 agosto 2026 caricando la pagina per intero, riquadro di disponibilità compreso, e non è risultato memorizzato alcun dato sul dispositivo del visitatore. Anche lo strumento con cui contiamo le visite (Cloudflare Web Analytics) funziona senza cookie. Per questa ragione non trovi un banner di consenso: non c'è nulla da autorizzare. La prenotazione e il pagamento si completano poi sulle pagine di Beds24 e Stripe, che sono siti distinti, con proprie informative e propri cookie.

L’assistente virtuale Olivia

Sulle pagine principali del sito trovi Olivia, un assistente che risponde alle domande sul Rifugio e su Ascoli. Non è una persona: è un software di intelligenza artificiale, e te lo dice presentandosi.

Quando le scrivi, il testo del tuo messaggio e il tuo indirizzo IP vengono inviati ai server di Anthropic, che fornisce il modello linguistico, passando per Cloudflare, che ospita il servizio. Servono soltanto a generare la risposta e a impedire usi automatizzati impropri. Entrambi i fornitori operano anche fuori dall’Unione Europea: il trasferimento avviene con le garanzie previste dal GDPR.

Le conversazioni restano in un registro tecnico per pochi giorni, il tempo di verificare che Olivia risponda bene e di individuare eventuali abusi; l’indirizzo IP è conservato per poche ore con la sola finalità di limitare il numero di richieste. La base giuridica è il nostro legittimo interesse a offrire assistenza e a proteggere il servizio.

Olivia non usa cookie e non salva nulla sul tuo dispositivo. Non ti chiede dati personali, e ti invitiamo a non scriverne nella chat: per prenotare usa il calendario, e per tutto ciò che riguarda i tuoi dati scrivici su WhatsApp o all’indirizzo info@viviascoli.com.

Di quali fornitori ci avvaliamo

Per erogare il servizio ci appoggiamo a: Beds24 (gestionale delle prenotazioni e calendario disponibilità), Stripe (incasso dei pagamenti), GitHub Pages (hosting del sito), Cloudflare (conteggio aggregato delle visite e funzionamento dell’assistente Olivia), Anthropic (il modello linguistico che fa parlare Olivia), WhatsApp (solo se scegli di scriverci lì). Se prenoti tramite portali come Booking.com, Airbnb o Vrbo, al rapporto con il portale si applicano anche le loro informative. Il nostro commercialista tratta i dati necessari agli adempimenti fiscali. Alcuni fornitori possono operare al di fuori dell'Unione Europea: in tal caso il trasferimento avviene con le garanzie previste dal GDPR (decisioni di adeguatezza o clausole contrattuali standard).

Per quanto tempo conserviamo i dati

Per il tempo necessario a gestire la richiesta e il soggiorno, e successivamente nei termini imposti dalla legge (ad esempio 10 anni per la documentazione fiscale e contabile).

What data we process, and why

• Enquiries and contacts (email, WhatsApp, phone): we process your name, contact details and the content of your message in order to reply and handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual steps taken at your request).
• Booking and stay: identity and contact details, dates of stay, number of guests and any special needs, to perform the hospitality contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Payments are handled by specialised providers: we never see or store your full card details.
• Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)): like every accommodation in Italy, we report guests' identity details to the State Police "Alloggiati Web" portal, manage the local tourist tax on behalf of the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno, and keep tax records for the periods required by law.
• Browsing this website: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages; like any web server, the hosting systems may record technical data such as your IP address in their logs, for security and service delivery. To count visits in purely aggregate form we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: a tool that sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, builds no profiles and does not identify individual visitors. We use no other analytics and no profiling tools of any kind. The fonts are hosted directly on this site. The availability and price widget loads some technical components from its providers' servers (jQuery and Beds24): those requests disclose your IP address to those providers, for the sole purpose of making the widget work.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. No profiling cookies, no analytics cookies, no first-party technical cookies: this was verified on 10 August 2026 by loading the page in full, availability widget included, and no data whatsoever was found stored on the visitor's device. The tool we use to count visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics) also works without cookies. For this reason you will not find a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. Booking and payment are then completed on the pages of Beds24 and Stripe, which are separate websites with their own privacy notices and their own cookies.

The Olivia virtual assistant

On the main pages of this website you will find Olivia, an assistant that answers questions about the Rifugio and about Ascoli. It is not a person: it is artificial-intelligence software, and it says so when it introduces itself.

When you write to it, the text of your message and your IP address are sent to the servers of Anthropic, which provides the language model, via Cloudflare, which hosts the service. They are used only to generate the reply and to prevent automated misuse. Both providers also operate outside the European Union: the transfer takes place with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Conversations are kept in a technical log for a few days, long enough to check that Olivia answers well and to spot any abuse; the IP address is kept for a few hours for the sole purpose of limiting the number of requests. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering assistance and protecting the service.

Olivia uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It does not ask you for personal data, and we invite you not to type any into the chat: to book, use the calendar, and for anything concerning your data write to us on WhatsApp or at info@viviascoli.com.

Service providers we rely on

To provide our service we rely on: Beds24 (booking management and availability calendar), Stripe (payment processing), GitHub Pages (website hosting), Cloudflare (aggregate visit counting and running the Olivia assistant), Anthropic (the language model behind Olivia), WhatsApp (only if you choose to message us there). If you book through platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb or Vrbo, their own privacy notices also apply to your relationship with the platform. Our accountant processes the data needed for tax compliance. Some providers may operate outside the European Union: in that case, transfers take place with the safeguards required by the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep your data

For as long as needed to handle your enquiry and your stay, and afterwards for the periods required by law (for example, 10 years for tax and accounting records).

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability by writing to info@viviascoli.com. If you believe the processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (garanteprivacy.it).

• Buchung und Aufenthalt: Identitäts- und Kontaktdaten, Aufenthaltsdaten, Anzahl der Gäste und besondere Wünsche, zur Erfüllung des Beherbergungsvertrags (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b). Zahlungen werden von spezialisierten Anbietern abgewickelt: Ihre vollständigen Kartendaten sehen oder speichern wir zu keinem Zeitpunkt.
• Gesetzliche Pflichten (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c): Wie jede Unterkunft in Italien melden wir die Identitätsdaten der Gäste an das Portal „Alloggiati Web" der Staatspolizei, führen die Kurtaxe für die Gemeinde Ascoli Piceno ab und bewahren steuerliche Unterlagen für die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Fristen auf.
• Besuch dieser Website: Die Website wird auf GitHub Pages gehostet; wie bei jedem Webserver können die Hosting-Systeme technische Daten wie Ihre IP-Adresse in Protokollen erfassen, zu Zwecken der Sicherheit und der Bereitstellung des Dienstes. Zur rein aggregierten Zählung der Besuche verwenden wir Cloudflare Web Analytics: ein Werkzeug, das keine Cookies setzt, nichts auf Ihrem Gerät speichert, keine Profile bildet und einzelne Besucher nicht identifiziert. Auf den Hauptseiten dieser Website finden Sie Olivia, eine Assistentin, die Fragen zum Rifugio und zu Ascoli beantwortet. Sie ist keine Person, sondern eine Software mit künstlicher Intelligenz — sie sagt es auch selbst, wenn sie sich vorstellt.

Wenn Sie ihr schreiben, werden der Text Ihrer Nachricht und Ihre IP-Adresse über Cloudflare, das den Dienst hostet, an die Server von Anthropic übermittelt, das das Sprachmodell bereitstellt. Sie dienen ausschließlich dazu, die Antwort zu erzeugen und automatisierten Missbrauch zu verhindern. Beide Anbieter arbeiten auch außerhalb der Europäischen Union: die Übermittlung erfolgt mit den von der DSGVO vorgesehenen Garantien.

Die Konversationen bleiben wenige Tage in einem technischen Protokoll, damit wir prüfen können, ob Olivia gut antwortet, und Missbrauch erkennen; die IP-Adresse wird wenige Stunden ausschließlich zur Begrenzung der Anfragen gespeichert. Rechtsgrundlage ist unser berechtigtes Interesse, Unterstützung anzubieten und den Dienst zu schützen.

Olivia verwendet keine Cookies und speichert nichts auf Ihrem Gerät. Sie fragt Sie nicht nach personenbezogenen Daten, und wir bitten Sie, im Chat keine einzugeben: für Buchungen nutzen Sie den Kalender, und für alles, was Ihre Daten betrifft, schreiben Sie uns über WhatsApp oder an info@viviascoli.com.
