The July Quintana
A parade of 1,500 people in period costume crosses the town at sunset, then at the Campo Squarcia the six districts compete with the lance under the floodlights. It is run on the second Saturday of July, at night. Tickets from €15 to €50.

Feast of Saint Francis · 800 years
Ascoli marks eight centuries since the Saint’s death: on Saturday 3 October a round table on Francis in art (4 pm) and solemn Vespers (6 pm); on Sunday 4 the feast day, with the blessing of the restored church at the 6 pm Mass.
